Book-keeping for Small Businesses &
Self Employed

8 sessions (3.5 hours)

This course is aimed at people who want to save accountancy costs and learn how to do their own book-keeping and preparation for year end accounts for small businesses or self employed.

Course content includes:
Introduction to double entry book-keeping and trial balance
Sales and purchases day books
Overview of VAT
Receipts and payments
Invoicing and other Business documents
Petty cash and Banking
Stock valuation
Understanding year end accounts

At the end of the day you will be able to complete your own tax return with confidence and you will have a
step-by step guide to help you do this

Cost:  £60

This course is aimed at people who have multiple income streams and want to save money and learn how to submit their own tax returns to HMRC

Course content includes:
Employment Income
Tax brackets and personal allowances
Property income
Benefits in-kind
Capital gains tax
Shares and dividends
Income from savings and investments
Completing the tax forms
Payments and tax refunds

 

At the end of the day you will be able to complete your own tax return with confidence and you will have a step-by step guide to help you do this
